Festivals and Events Funding
Ballina Shire Council is pleased to announce that the Festival and Event Support Program for the 2026/27 financial year is now open. Local Event organisers are invited to express an interest by completing an online application and lodging it with Council. There is a total amount of approximately $150,000 available for distribution for event funding opportunities. Funding will be available from 1 July 2026.
Eligibility criteria includes:
• Applicant needs to hold adequate public liability insurance
• Total cost of the festival/event must be more than $20,000
• Festival/event must be held in Ballina Shire.
