SC9523 - Wilberforce Car Park Public Private Partnership EOI
Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from suitability qualified parties to enter into a Public Private Partnership (PPP) with Council to undertake a mixed-use redevelopment of its Wilberforce Avenue car park in Rose Bay.
Redevelopment of the 2,630 sqm site at 17 Dover Road, Rose Bay will address longstanding demand for more parking and community space and ensure the ongoing economic viability of the Rose Bay local centre.
Council’s minimum requirements for any PPP are as follows:
Car park of no less than 200 public car spaces, plus any other parking requirements for the development, consistent with Chapter E1 of Woollahra Development Control Plan 2015.
Community facility of no less than 500sqm.
Public toilet facilities, including disabled toilets.
Council will consider EOI proposals that include other revenue-generating assets on the site. These may include, but are not limited to residential, retail, commercial office spaces or hotels.
