T25-09 - Bulky Bins Supply & Collection
Junee Shire Council is seeking submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced Tenderers for the supply of bulky bins plus the collection and transport of putrescible waste from transfer stations in various locations around the Junee Shire, in accordance with the requirements identified in the Tender Scope of Works.
The contract will require the ordering and provision of bulky bins for each of the locations defined below and in the Scope of Works. Every bin will require collection each week unless otherwise noted with all Putrescible waste to be transported to Wagga Wagga City Council’s Gregadoo Waste Management Centre. The Tenderer is also to supply all other consumables required to ensure plant operation including fuel within the contract price.
The work to be carried out under this contract is located at the following transfer stations:
Junee Waste Facility
Wantabadgery Transfer Station
Eurongilly Transfer Station
Bethungra Transfer Station
Illabo Transfer Station
Junee Reefs Transfer Station
Old Junee
Transfer Station
Junee Depot
Junee Sewerage Treatment Plant
The contract will be initially signed for three (3) years. Council may extend the agreement up to three (3) occurrences, for another one-year period, based on the Councils assessment outcome of the contractor’s performance, provision of the appropriate insurances and the rates before the expiry of the current contracted period.
It is intended that the successful contractor will commence service delivery in December 2025. Contractors are required to indicate their ability to meet this timetable, or if they are not able to meet it to provide an alternative starting date. The successful contractor must provide a detailed time schedule of activities and key dates leading up to the commencement of the new service.?
The successful Contractor shall be required to provide and follow a comprehensive WH&S and Risk Management system, adhere to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation plus hold and maintain suitable Public Liability insurance, Workers Compensation insurance, and all other relevant insurances as detailed in the Tender documentation. These documents must be supplied with any Tender submission.
Please note that Junee Shire Council will appoint a preferred Contractor and reserves the right to increase or reduce the scope of works prior to commencement, and during the works/financial year to meet budgetary obligations.
