T00254 - Provision of a Septic Tank and Collection Well Effluent Removal Service
Council (the Principal) is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced, organisations or individuals to provide ‘Provision of a Septic Tank and Collection Well Effluent Removal Service.
Project goals
The work is awarded for the contract work on a schedule of rates price basis in accordance with the tender pricing schedules herein. The Council makes no guarantee to the contractor regarding the volume of services required under this contract. All work will be on an “as required” basis during the contract term.
Scope
The Contractor shall collect, transport, convey and dispose of all collection well effluent within the Council’s area from each designated property nominated by Council at frequencies set by Council and in accordance with the collection schedule.
Effluent collected shall be transported to Council’s South Windsor Sewage Treatment Facility at 347 Fairey Road, South Windsor or other Council approved disposal facility.
This Contract requires the collection, conveyance and disposal of collection well effluent from approximately 800 domestic premises and 50 non-domestic premises. The tendered service will be for the supply of equipment, labour and maintenance necessary to fulfil the sullage removal needs of the Council, with collection to occur at least once in each fourteen (14) consecutive days.
