Shellharbour ClubGRANTS 2026 Funding Round Open Soon
Shellharbour City Council is inviting local community groups and organisations to apply for the 2026 Category 1 ClubGRANTS community funding scheme.
ClubGRANTS is a state-wide initiative in which local clubs provide significant financial support to community projects and programs. Through the Category 1 program, eligible Shellharbour groups and organisations can apply for funding to support their work in the community.
Funding is available for a wide range of initiatives including community welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance.
Local clubs participating this year are Albion Park Bowling Club, Albion Park RSL, Oak Flats Bowling and Recreation Club, The Shellharbour Club, Warilla Bowls and Recreation Club and Warilla Sports Club.
Shellharbour City Mayor Chris Homer said that financial support from the city’s larger clubs helped provide services that are essential to community wellbeing.
“The ClubGRANTS program supports community groups to provide their ongoing services and support to our residents,” Mayor Homer said.
“Council recognises the important role this funding plays in supporting those community members who need it most in local priority areas such as community connection, education and employment, housing, safety and health and wellbeing.”
In 2025, more than $355,000 supported 28 local projects delivered by 27 community organisations, addressing priorities such as education, food relief, disability services, youth support, health promotion, and community development.
While Council does not own the program, it plays a key role in the administration, setting local priorities, promoting grants, and supporting the Local Committee.
