T-2025-1720 - Quantity Surveying Services - Mandible Street Sports Precinct - Alexandria
The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites Request for Tender for the carrying out Quantity Surveying Consultancy Services for the Mandible Street Sports Precinct, Alexandria in accordance with this request.
The Mandible Street Sports Precinct will be a new sporting facility near the Green Square Town Centre and Alexandria North Enterprise area. Four industrial sites will be redeveloped to create a new sport precinct to service the growing residential population, surrounding schools and the wider community. The sports precinct will cater for local community competition sports, and recreation such as play and skate spaces. Drawing on the industrial fabric of previous site uses, the canals and surrounding street networks will form interest and provide opportunities for re-use and establishing character.
The City is seeking to engage a suitably qualified Cost Planner & Quantity Surveyor to develop cost plans as the design works progress, at the various stages of the construction documentation, and prepare a pre-tender estimate prior to construction. The Consultant also is requested to undertake embodied carbon assessments at project completion stage.
