This Project is for the reconstruction of the Rushcutters Bay Park groundwater bore that is utilized to irrigate the adjacent sports fields & potentially other passive recreation turf areas in the future.
All approvals have been granted with relevant information best summarized in the Rushcutters Bay Park Bore Hole Reconstruction - Review of Environmental Factors, see REF accompanying this RFQ.
The Groundwater Bore (Asset ID SVS_0153) in Rushcutters Bay Park (currently located just outside the southeastern corner of the playground fence) collapsed in 2022 and requires reconstruction in a new location
The goal of this work is to restore reliable groundwater supply at appropriate pressure & fit for purpose quality for the irrigation of sports fields and potentially other turfed areas within Rushcutters Bay Park through the reconstruction of the current bore in a new location.
