Cultural Grants
The Cultural Round will focus on funding local organisations, businesses and creatives to run projects, programs and events to promote cultural activations across the LGA.
Funding is available across five categories including:
• Creative Projects Fund: funding pool of $70,000 with grants of up to $20,000 supporting professional creative projects that develop local talent, increase participation and explore Parramatta’s identity.
• Creative and Night-Time Economy Grant: funding pool of $100,000 with grants of up to $20,000 backing bold ideas that activate Parramatta day and night, strengthen the visitor economy and support inclusive creative experiences.
• History, Culture and Stories Fund: funding pool of $20,000 with grants of up to $10,000 supporting research and projects that document, interpret and share Parramatta’s rich history, heritage and untold stories.
• Community Events Grant - Round 2: funding pool of $35,900 with grants of up to $10,000 supporting free or low-cost public events that celebrate culture, creativity and community.
• Parramatta Artists Studios Creative Fellowship Fund: a $25,000 fellowship awarded to one exceptional artist to develop new work, grow their practice and connect with the community of Parramatta.
Funded projects will be delivered between July 2026 and June 2027, supporting everything from arts programs and cultural research to festivals, exhibitions and new creative work.
