ITT254. Design and Construct Pavement Stabilisation Program.
Tenders are invited from experienced pavement stabilisation contractors to provide Design and Construct pavement stabilisation and associated works at 15 roads within the following separable portions:
• Separable Portion A - Alexandra Headland (1 street)
• Separable Portion B - Buddina (3 streets)
• Separable Portion C - Little Mountain (3 streets)
• Separable Portion D - Yaroomba (3 streets)
• Separable Portion E - Dicky Beach (2 streets)
• Separable Portion F - Doonan (3 streets)
This is a lump sum Design and Construct contract based off a Schedule of Rates.
Designs for all separable portions are required to be submitted for approval in financial year FY 2025/26 with priority given to works schedule for construction in that financial year.
All stabilisation works in Separable Portions A to D shall be undertaken in FY 2025/26 with Practical Completion by no later than 31 May 2026.
All stabilisation works in Separable Portions E & F shall be undertaken in FY 2026/27 with construction completed by 30 September 2026.
The contractor/s will be responsible for:
• providing suitable pavement stabilisation treatment design in accordance with Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) Technical Specification MRTS07 for Council approval; and
• operating as the Principal Contractor for the delivery of Stabilisation works in accordance with the approved Design, the Contract Terms and Conditions and associated documents.
Respondents may bid for one or more Separable Portions. To ensure that the stabilisation works are completed in the timeframes required, Council is seeking to engage a maximum of (2) two contractors. Council reserves the right to award one (1) or more Separable Portions to one (1) or more Contractors.
