Regional Arts Development Funding (RADF)
About RADF
RADF partners with local governments across Queensland to promote and deliver quality arts and cultural experiences to communities. RADF promotes the role and value of arts, culture and heritage as key drivers of diverse and inclusive communities and strong regions. RADF invests in local arts and cultural priorities, as determined by local communities, across Queensland.
RADF supports arts and cultural activities that:
• provide public value for Queensland communities
• build local cultural capacity, cultural innovation and community well-being
• deliver Queensland Government’s objectives for the community.
Council's local priorities for RADF are:
1. Support skills development and capacity building for individuals and community groups in the arts, cultural and heritage sectors within Burke Shire.
2. Support opportunities local opportunities and development in the arts sector.
3. Encourage social connection, community resilience and improve well-being
4. Deliver priorities meeting Burke Shire Council’s strategic directions
5. Encourage partnerships and collaboration across the arts, cultural and heritage sector between individuals, groups, and professional organisations.
Maximum funding available
$7,500.00 per application.
Project Commencement Date - Successful grant applicants must sign a funding agreement before funds are released. Projects must be ready to commence after 30th November 2025.
Project Completion Date - Projects must be completed and funds expended within 12 months of being granted.
Project Acquittal - Acquittals for successful projects are due 30 days after the project completion date.
