26_023 - Request for Tender - McEvoy Street Rising Sewer Main Replacement
Southern Downs Regional Council (SDRC) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor for the Design and Construction of the McEvoy Street Sewer Rising Main Replacement.
SDRC has identified the need to replace the aging McEvoy Street rising main and construct a new dedicated gravity main receiving flow from the McEvoy Street Sewer Pumping Station. The works once completed, will extend the life of the rising main, improve capacity of the network, and reduce loads on the existing gravity main network.
The Request for Tender (RFT) provides the opportunity for Contractors to submit a quotation to:
• Undertake investigations, detailed design and documentation for the installation of the McEvoy Street SPS rising main and the new gravity main;
• Undertake the construction of the above-mentioned designed infrastructure, tying works into the DN225 rising main installed by SDRC along the same alignment of the existing rising main.
