External Service & Efficiency Review
Redland City Council is seeking a suitably qualified consultant to to perform a comprehensive review of Redland City Council’s internal and external services, organisational structure and delivery models to ensure that Council is appropriately resourced to deliver what the community needs in the most efficient way possible (the External Service & Efficiency Review).
Redland City Council is facing significant financial challenges over the next decade. Council must manage existing service and infrastructure costs while concurrently providing for increased needs due to population growth.
The needs of the Redlands Coast community are also changing, and there is a responsibility to ensure Council’s services meet these needs.
These impacts are occurring against rising depreciation, costs to council and a backdrop of ongoing cost shifting from both the Queensland and Commonwealth Governments. As such, it is crucial that Redland City Council reassesses and if necessary, realigns its services, delivery models and organisational structure to meet current and future demands and ensure value for money for ratepayers.
