Livingstone Shire Council is seeking to procure kerbside collection (waste, recycling, and commercial) and bulk haulage services from a suitably qualified waste service provider. This Information for Tenderers provides the relevant details and background information for prospective tenders to assist in the formulation of their tender responses.
Scope of Services
This contract covers the provision of comprehensive waste collection services across the Livingstone Local Government Area (LGA), including:
• Kerbside collection of residual waste and recyclables for domestic and commercial properties
• Public place bin servicing
• Provision, delivery, repair, and replacement of Mobile Garbage Bins (MGBs)
• Front lift services
• Bulk haulage of waste and recyclables
• Waste data collection, charging information management, and verification
• Waste education planning and delivery
• Customer service and call centre operations
Council is seeking tenders from appropriately qualified, licensed, and experienced contractors to deliver these services under a Schedule of Rates contract arrangement.
