ITT2513. Construction of Sports Clubhouse, Briggs Park, Palmwoods.
Council requires a Principal Contractor to construct a replacement clubhouse at Briggs Park, Briggs Oval, Jubilee Drive, Palmwoods.
The building is located at the end of the carpark and forms part of Briggs Park Sporting Complex.
The scope of works includes the demolition of the existing building to make way for the new building in the same location. The design will primarily improve the change rooms and compliance along with storage and a kitchen area.
Construction Works will include, but not be limited to:
• Preliminary setup, environmental & site preparation.
• Demolition of existing building.
• Construction, fit out and commissioning of clubhouse building
• Electrical & Hydraulic works.
• Complying to Council's sun safety.
• Landscaping, drainage works and pathways.
• Environmental management of the site including erosion and sediment control.
• Site management including safety; traffic and pedestrian management.
• Commissioning and certification, provision of handover documentation including ADAC.
• Maintenance period 12 weeks (softscape elements) and 52 weeks defects liability period (all elements).
• Full remediation of any damage to site including turf.
• Provide weekly reports issued on Friday outlining past and future works for the following week in line with Council reporting sheet.
The successful contractor will be required to provide all materials, plant and labour to perform all necessary operations of whatever kind, to ensure successful delivery of the scope of works associated with this Contract.
This is a lump sum contract with an anticipated commencement date of 20 October 2025 with a preferred practical completion by mid-March 2026.
