Cloncurry Shire Council (the Principal) invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for selection as a pre-qualified supplier of wet hire plant as described in more detail in Part 5 – Scope.
Respondents do not need to be able to undertake all of the activities in Part 5 – Scope and are encouraged to respond if they can service any one or more of those activities.
The appointment as a pre-qualified supplier will commence on 1 March 2026 and end on 30 April 2030 (‘Term’). The Principal may extend the Term, at its discretion, for a further 12 months by giving written notice to successful Tenderers. The Principal may also, during the Term, conduct a further procurement process to appoint other suppliers.
The Principal intends to establish this register of pre-qualified suppliers and to subsequently invite quotations for particular work packages from selected pre-qualified suppliers.
Successful tenderers may be required to work with gravel, limestone, road base, bituminous products, asphalt, concrete and other construction materials used by the Principal in the construction of roads, drainage and reserves and other assets.
