New Event and Sponsorship Grants to Celebrate Our City
From cultural and major sponsorships to grassroots initiatives and neighbourhood gatherings, our new Event Grants and Event Sponsorship grants are designed to strengthen community connection, celebrate diversity, activate local places and spaces, and support the economic growth of our City.
We now offer two types of funding streams for event organisers:
• Event Grants which include two streams:
- Community Event Fund - For established, culturally significant community events are recognised in the city’s calendar.
- Event Grants - Competitive, open grants for initiatives that spark creativity, social connection, and local pride.
• Event Sponsorship - Commercial-style partnerships with high-profile events that offer strong return on investment and city branding opportunities.
