The Northern Areas Council has identified the need for a comprehensive renewal and upgrade program of footpath and kerb infrastructure within its municipal boundaries. This initiative forms part of Council's ongoing commitment to maintaining safe, accessible, and sustainable pedestrian infrastructure that serves the community's current and future needs. Before this, council engaged its internal team to survey, design and construct the footpath and kerb infrastructure which came with challenges in various aspects and dissatisfaction in the community with the quality of works. Therefore, council wants to engage a consultant to get professional expertise, independent quality assurance and comprehensive technical solutions that will ensure delivery of infrastructure meeting standards and regulatory compliance requirements. Therefore, council is seeking to engage a suitable qualified and experienced Engineering Consultants to undertake comprehensive survey, design, documentation, and project management services for the renewal and upgrade of footpath and kerb infrastructure across designated areas within the Northern Areas Council municipality.
