WHAT and WHY
The Flinders Ranges Council invites expressions of interest to take part in FREE community mural workshops in Hawker and Quorn. These workshops are an opportunity for community members to explore mural-making, with a renowned local mural artist. There will be three, four-hour workshops at each venue. The selected works having the potential to be developed into permanent public artworks in the towns, subject to future funding.
The Principal are looking for mural ideas that are Iconic, Innovative and Imaginative. Open to both experienced and budding artists. Participants must be willing for their completed artwork to be publicly displayed after the workshops, either temporarily or permanently in the towns.
A panel of community representatives will assist in the selection process
