2025054 - 2025054 Gully Road Reserve Upgrade (COM057517)
Council seeks an experienced and qualified Contractor to undertake an upgrade to Gully Road Reserve. Including but not limited to, renew existing irrigation; install new irrigation; deliver a new outdoor fitness space and deliver landscaping solution fit for specification, in accordance with tender documentation.
Preliminaries
• Establishment, insurances, traffic management and supervision
• Install temporary fence
• Set out survey
• Underground search
Site Preparation
• Demolition and disposal of perma-pine barriers
• Weed eradication, debris clearance and remove top soil (Concrete pads)
• Carefully blade top 50mm of soil to remove grass and identify tree root extents within TPZ (for proposed garden beds) Includes green waste disposal at Licenced facility.
• Level, trim and place subgrades to form design levels
• Removal of dead/poisoned trees.
• Stump grind to below ground level and match to surround levels
• Import clean fill to raise levels to new fitness area
• Compaction testing for new rubber areas
Pavements & Hard Surfaces
• Supply and install concrete pathways and pads
• Supply and install compacted rubble
• Supply and install rubber surface to fitness area
Planting
• Supply and planting of 45ltr pot trees including excavation, fertiliser, organic compost, backfilling with imported topsoil, mulched tree dishes and staking.
• Planting @ 2per m2 @ tubestock
• Ameliorate site won topsoil and supplement with imported topsoil for garden beds to a depth of 200mm, includes Ultimate Terra Start, as specified
• Deep rip and cultivate existing subgrade 150mm to new shrub beds
• Deep rip and cultivate existing subgrade 150mm turf to southern reserve
• 75mm depth to organic mulch haulage from ACC depot and install to planting beds and trees based on m3 rate
• Top dress and hydroseed lawn extents in southern reserve
• Top dress and hydroseed to make good areas impacted by irrigation in northern reserve
Furniture and features
• Supply and Install Draffin Knox Park Seats
Edging & Retaining Walls
• Supply & Install 90mm x 20mm Recycled Plastic Edge to compacted rubble paths
• Supply and install 150mm wide concrete edge to the fitness area
• Install spade edging between to garden bed edges and lawn
Fencing
• Supply and install black PVC post and rail fence to Davenport Terrace including the entrance area
• Supply and installation of 1040x2000mm yellow double rail u-bollard central to concrete pad entry off Davenport Tce
Exercise Equipment
• Supply, delivery, and installation of Aspace Crossfit Training Circuit with rubber softfall, concrete edging, and site prep
Irrigation & Drainage
• Supply and install irrigation and backflow prevention device to lawn areas as identified on the drawings.
• Remove and dispose of redundant irrigation system being replaced.
• Supply and install biofiltration drainage and soakage pit.
