Independent Chairperson & Independent Member of Local Government Audit & Risk Committee
Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified persons from within Australia, who are motivated to become an independent chairperson or independent member of the District Council of Peterborough Audit & Risk Committee.
The Audit and Risk Committee’s primary role is to support Council in fulfilling its responsibilities related to financial reporting, risk management, internal controls, and governance practices.
Applicants with skills and experience in business or financial management, and a sound understanding of financial and regulatory reporting requirements, will be preferred. While not essential, experience in local government - particularly in the areas of finance, risk, and governance - will be highly regarded. Attendance via Zoom is available so location is not a restriction.
