Adelaide Hills Council invites experienced contractors to submit tenders for the upgrade of the stormwater drainage network within the Balhannah township.
The works include the construction and upgrade of stormwater infrastructure along Bridge Street, Nairne Road, and West Terrace, with a new and/or upgraded outlet discharging to the adjacent creek. The project aims to improve stormwater capacity, drainage performance, and flood resilience within the township while ensuring environmental protection and minimal disruption to the community.
The scope of works may include (but is not limited to):
• Installation and upgrade of underground stormwater pipes and pits
• Construction of stormwater outlets to the creek
• Associated earthworks, road reinstatement, and surface restoration
• Traffic management and pedestrian access controls
• Environmental and erosion control measures
Tenderers must demonstrate relevant experience in stormwater infrastructure projects of a similar scale, compliance with WHS and environmental requirements, and the capacity to deliver the works within the specified timeframe.
