Expressions of Interest: Carols in the Park Performers
The City of Launceston, together with the dedicated volunteer working group behind last year’s successful event, is once again inviting local performers to join the program and help bring the magic of Christmas to life at this year’s Carols in the Park.
This much-loved, free community tradition fills City Park with music, joy, and festive spirit, and we’re looking for singers, dancers, musicians, and performance groups to share their talents on stage. Carols in the Park is a highlight of Launceston’s Christmas calendar, a chance for families and friends to come together to celebrate the season and showcase the incredible creativity within our community.
Who can apply
We welcome applications from:
• Choirs, vocal groups and solo singers
• Bands, ensembles and instrumentalists
• Dance schools, troupes and individual dancers
• Community performance groups of all ages
Commitment
Performers must be available on:
Event date: Sunday 21 December 2025
Sound check: sound check will occur during the day on Sunday, 21 December (the time is to be confirmed). All performers MUST be available for this.
Rehearsals: We anticipate that rehearsals may take place in the weeks leading up to the event, however this is to be confirmed.
Selection process
All applications will be reviewed by our volunteer working group, supported by the City of Launceston Events team. From there, we’ll shortlist performers, musicians, and artists to be part of Carols in the Park.
