2026/294 - Intersection Upgrade - Fourteenth Street and Cowra Avenue
Mildura Rural City Council is seeking Tender responses from suitably qualified individuals and organisations to undertake the upgrade of Fourteenth Street and Cowra Avenue Intersection including the installation of new side entry pits, junction pits, drainage pipes, Kerb and Channel, roundabout, splitter island, and new pavement and associated works.
The scope of the project as follows
• Demolition and Removal as shown on the drawing Sheet No 301& 501.
- Removal and disposal of road material to a depth of 440mm below the design surface.
- Removal of existing kerbs, pits and pipes, traffic island, and box culvert.
- Removal of bluestone crusher dust path.
- Removal and delivery of existing traffic signs to MRCC Benetook Depot.
• Drainage Works as shown on the design drawings Sheet No 200,201,202,204,600,601,703,704,705 & 706
- Installation of drainage pits and pipes
- Installation of subsoil drains.
- Construction of swale drains
• Kerb and Pavement Works as shown on the design drawings sheet No 200,201,500,700 & 701
- Reconstruction of Kerb and Channel.
- Road Pavement works as shown on the design drawings
• Concrete Works as shown on the design drawings sheet No 201,203,500 & 702
- Construction of pram ramps
- Construction of a concrete splitter island.
- Construction of a concrete roundabout.
- Construction of driveways.
• Traffic Devices and Signage as shown on the design drawings sheet no 402,900 & 901
- Installation of civil precast concrete speed cushions.
- Installation of road signs.
- Installation of line marking.
• Miscellaneous as shown on the design drawings sheet No 200, 301 & 500.
- Build up the existing driveway using Class 3 F.C.R material.
- Construction of bluestone crusher dust paths
- Relocation of existing mailbox.
