Public Art: White Footed Dunnart Mural Project
Project Introduction
Bunurong Land Council is seeking to collaborate with two Bunurong artists to undertake a mural installation in Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula.
The theme of the mural is the White Footed Dunnart.
The artists will be supported in the project by members of the Balirt Biik Strong Country team; Cultural Landscapes Coordinator Adam Magennis and the Western Ranger Team Leader Rupert McDonald.
Artist's Fee
• A payment of $8000 (GST exc) is provided to both successful artists.
• BLCAC will support cleaning the mural surface, if required support any scaffolding installation requirements and sealing of the mural.
• The artist is to cover paint materials including priming paint and exterior surface paint from the allocated mural budget of $8000 (GST exc).
Accommodation is available at the Point Nepean National Park cottages, otherwise artists will be reimbursed for their travel.
