2025-20 - Stormwater Condition Audit - FY 25/29
Council is seeking a cost estimate from a suitably qualified consultant to undertake a stormwater condition audit program covering Council’s 2,200 km stormwater network.
The program is intended to be delivered progressively, with approximately 3 % of the total network (≈ 66 km) inspected in the first year (FY 25/26).
Each year’s scope will include both stormwater pipes and associated pit assets, with asset selections based on risk, criticality, and sensitivity mapping. The audit will prioritise high-sensitivity and high-risk drainage catchments to ensure representative sampling and alignment with Council’s asset-management and renewal planning objectives.
