Nabawa Recreation Centre Redevelopment: The Shire have been successful in obtaining funding which will commence Stage 1 of the Nabawa Recreation Centre Redevelopment.
Rising building costs have meant that the estimates from the commencement of the project to now have increased by up to 40%, which has required the Shire to deliver the project in stages.
The rationale behind opting for the Changeroom portion of the project revolves around the existing guidelines of both grant providers, allowing the funds to be used for the changerooms as well as allowing for the original function room to remain in situ.
Council is hopeful of having the Tender documents ready in October, with Construction to hopefully commence in the new year.
