RFQ2526/004. Fire system upgrade - South West Sports Centre & Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre.
This Request for Quote includes fire system upgrade works at two separate facilities within the City of Bunbury:
- South West Sports Centre (SWSC)
Located within the Hay Park precinct in South Bunbury, the South West Sports Centre is a two-storey facility comprising a swimming pool, activity rooms, café, and office areas. The building is currently equipped with a conventional fire detection system, which has reached the end of its serviceable life. These works are being requested to replace and upgrade the existing system.
- Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre (BREC)
Situated on Blair Street in the Bunbury CBD, the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre was constructed in two stages several years apart. As a result, the original section of the building contains a conventional fire system, while the newer section is equipped with a fully addressable fire detection system.
Please note that both venues will remain operational throughout the duration of the works. The successful contractor will be required to co-ordinate with the relevant site staff to ensure that disruption to operations is minimised, and that safety and accessibility are maintained at all times.
