RFT02 2025/26 (RFT02-2025/26) - Merredin Regional Community & Leisure Centre Resurface of Two (2) Indoor Courts
The Shire of Merredin (the Shire) is seeking to upgrade the indoor courts at the Merredin Regional Community and Leisure Centre (MRCLC) to create an all ages, multi-generational and inclusive sport and recreation hub.
The scope involves supply and installation of high-performance wooden sports court flooring over an existing polyurethane floor, covering an area of 1,700m². The new wooden surface will be engineered to accommodate various indoor sports, including basketball, netball, volleyball, and badminton. The upgraded courts will enhance playability, safety, and longevity, meeting performance criteria for shock absorption, ball bounce, and traction.
Key components of the project will include surface preparation, supply and installation of a subfloor system, and laying of wooden court flooring.
