Small Grants Program
The Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia (YACWA) is pleased to announce that the YACWA Small Grants Program Supported by Lotterywest has returned. The Program provides financial support for innovative engagement opportunities for young people that strengthen their resilience, capability and mental wellbeing. YACWA recognises the value of ongoing trusted relationships between young people and their communities. Building on the strength of these relationships, these funds will increase resources for communities and enable larger impact.
This small grant program will fund youth services and community organisations to meet emerging needs of young people. The grants will need to address one or both of the following two (2) areas:
• Early intervention and prevention to improve young people’s mental health and/or building communities and connections for young people
• Engage young people who are at risk of entering the youth justice system
