If the specified Closing Date and Time is far enough into the future, advertisers will be shown an option to delay the release of the opportunity until a specified date and time, up to 2 weeks into the future.
The tender, when the Add Tender Wizard is completed, will remain hidden on our system as a Delayed Tender until the specified Opening Date and Time at which point the tender will be released.
This feature is quite useful in synchronising the release of the advertisement with that of a newspaper or to release it on a weekend.
Any selected suppliers will not be notified of the opportunity until the tender is released.
