Tender Site Briefings

A Tender Briefing is an event held by a tender advertiser, or a third-party they have authorised, for the purpose of interacting with potential suppliers interested in submitting to their opportunity. The purpose behind this event may vary, but the management of each is quite similar and can be considered the same for the purpose of managing registrations and attendance.

Even though they may differ in purpose, our Tender Site Briefing system can assist advertisers in the preparation and management of the following types of events:

  1. Meet and Greet
For advertisers to meet potential suppliers for an EOI or RFP that they intend to advertise, or to encourage local businesses to participate in their future requests for tenders and quotations.

  2. Informational Forums
Advertisers may want to run through their technical documentation and requirements with potential suppliers, clarifying any important points that suppliers should be well aware of.

  3. Question and Answer Sessions
Suppliers can ask questions about an opportunity and have the advertiser respond in a fair and open manner for all other suppliers. Often the questions and answers are also posted online afterwards.

  4. Pre-Qualification Checkups
These sessions are used to give potential suppliers a chance to ensure that they meet all the requirements and pre-qualifications for a specific tender before they submit their response.

  5. Site Inspections
Advertisers can take potential suppliers around the location or the target of the requested goods/works/services in person to let them more accurately construct their bid. This is often better than relying solely on photos and videos.

Advertisers can use the Tender Briefings system for other types of events that require registration.
