The intention of the Request for Proposal is to find and implement a software tool to allow metadata classification to be applied to files in a much simpler manner, likely an automated allocation of metadata based on a predefined classification system. The classification system will be tailored per business unit during the rollout. It is envisioned that implementation of a tool of this kind will help to increase filing accuracy and discipline in the business, helping AT to achieve its strategic information management and document compliance obligations.
